Vespera Energy’s objective is to seize the solar market with an innovative investment approach combined with development expertise to develop 2 GWs across Italy. With two offices in Puglia and Milan, we’re looking to expand our team of Business development managers to help make the world’s transition to a more sustainable future. Vespera sees Italy as one of the most promising markets for renewable projects and are excited to grow its pipeline of photovoltaic projects within the sector.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about solar energy, sustainability, technology, innovation, and renewables as a whole, to help make the ‘switch’ for a more sustainable future and longer lasting planet.

The Role

  • Manage and supervise projects through the development process from start to finish
  • Handling legal, technical and administrative tasks to closure with support from internal and external teams
  • Review and finalise project contracts such as NDA, Co-development agreements, exclusivities, lease, SPA, EPC and O&M.
  • Managing existing and new relationships with stakeholders
  • Perform technical performance analysis for existing and new projects
  • Support development across business when needed
  • This is a hybrid role, you have the option to work from anywhere in Italy or in one of our offices in Taranto or Milan.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience within the field of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) with focus on PV
  • Experience in developing PV projects: Grid applications, land identification/negotiations, environmental permitting, administrative authorisations, etc.
  • Strong understanding of the greenfield development process
  • Capacity to interact with landowners and local administrations

  • Financial model user-level skills
  • Ability to forge long term professional relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team-player ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, autonomous, flexible and driven personality
  • Good level of written and spoken Italian and English
  • Driving license
